American singer-songwriter Benson Boone will perform his first full concert in Singapore at The Star Theatre on Nov 2, according to CNA. The date is part of his Wanted Man Tour, which also routes through South Korea and Japan.

Tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster Singapore at prices ranging from S$128 to S$248, CNA reported. The release follows a three-stage sale structure: an artiste presale on Jul 20, a Lushington presale on Jul 21, and general sales opening Jul 22.

The tiered presale approach is standard practice for touring acts in the regional market, letting promoters gauge demand and manage inventory across a venue before opening to the wider public. The Star Theatre, part of the Star Performing Arts Centre, seats roughly 5,000, placing this booking in the mid-sized theatre bracket rather than the arena tier used by larger touring productions in Singapore.

The 24-year-old built his audience quickly. He first drew attention on the 19th season of American Idol in 2021 before withdrawing to pursue music independently, according to CNA. His debut single Ghost Town arrived in 2021, followed by In The Stars in 2022, and he later reached a global audience with Beautiful Things and Before You.

Boone has since released two studio albums, Fireworks & Rollerblades in 2024 and American Heart in 2025. His touring resume includes opening slots for Imagine Dragons on the Mercury World Tour in 2023 and for Taylor Swift on selected Eras Tour dates in 2024, both of which expanded his exposure to large ticket-buying audiences.

The Singapore stop is not Boone's first appearance in the market. He played an invite-only showcase for selected fans at the Black Box at Drama Centre in August 2023, according to CNA. The move from a small showcase format to a full ticketed concert at a 5,000-capacity venue reflects the audience growth over the intervening period.

Asia touring context

Routing a single Southeast Asian date alongside South Korea and Japan is a common structure for Western pop acts, which typically anchor Asia legs around the larger Japanese and Korean markets and add Singapore as a regional hub stop. The city-state's English-language audience and concentration of live-music infrastructure make it a frequent inclusion on abbreviated Asia runs, even when other Southeast Asian markets are skipped.
